What We Do

The AIS Process

What We Do .

At the heart of AIS is a simple but powerful act: documentation. We identify, research, verify, and publish the stories of Africa’s most impactful individuals. But the process behind that act — and what it creates — is anything but simple.

The Documentation process

01.

Nomination

Anyone can nominate. Communities, institutions, individuals, and partner organisations submit nominations through the AIS platform. Every nomination is taken seriously.

02.

Research & Verification

The AIS documentation team researches each nominee with rigor. We verify impact, cross-reference sources, and build a complete picture of the individual’s contribution.

03.

Profiling

A professional AIS profile is created — written, designed, and multimedia-enriched. This is not a social media post. It is a permanent institutional record.

04.

Publication

Profiles are published across AIS digital platforms, the AIS magazine, and distributed to media partners. The subject’s story reaches millions.

05.

Archiving

Every documented profile becomes part of the permanent AIS archive — the most comprehensive database of African excellence in existence.

Who We Document

AIS documents impact-makers across every sector of African society. No field is too small. No contribution is too quiet. If someone has changed lives, their story belongs in the archive.
